Quite a bit of time remains before the arrival of spring - summer residents tidy up their inventory and plan spring work in the garden. And you will have to do a lot, because the future harvest also largely depends on the spring preparation of the garden. And one of the most important and necessary spring events is pest control. Warm winters and the absence of severe frosts in most of the country did not leave us hope that some pests would freeze. This winter is likely to survive even those who were unable to hide from the frost “more reliable”. So, we need to seriously approach the issue of combating garden pests. We will talk about one of the most effective methods of cleansing the garden from harmful insects in the article.

Why pest control is necessary

Pests of all stripes pose a huge threat to the harvest of fruit orchards. Moreover, not only this year’s crop often suffers - one could still somehow come to terms with such a nuisance. But many pests by their activity noticeably weaken trees and shrubs, and weak plants become easy prey for various diseases. Young seedlings can even die without coping with colonies of harmful insects.

According to the nature of their nutrition, garden pests are subdivided into sucking ones - aphids, scale insects, copper flocks, and gnawing - such caterpillars as apple moth, hawthorn, leafworm, and many others. The list can be supplemented by ticks, bark beetles, and other harmful bugs wintering under the bark. The suckers, eating the juice of young leaves, deprive the plant of strength, as a result of which the development of a tree or shrub is disrupted, and with a severe defeat, the death of seedlings occurs. Gnawing, appearing in large numbers, in a short period of time can expose the entire crown of trees, depriving plants of nutrition.

The most useless activity is to start gardening in the summer when the first gnawed leaves or spoiled buds appear. By this time, the pest has already grown stronger, and often it has bred in incredible quantities, and it will be very difficult to deal with it.

In order to prevent the occurrence of diseases and the death of trees and get a good harvest - pests must be controlled. And this is best done in early spring.

Garden Pest Management Methods

Conventional pest control methods involve spraying with various insecticides, and the treatments are carried out not once, but at various stages of plant awakening. For many gardeners, this causes certain difficulties, because you need to find not only free time, but also the weather to be suitable. And then how lucky.

Another difficulty in controlling insect pests is the reluctance of gardeners to use chemical protective equipment. Recently, many summer residents refuse conventional insecticides, and there are good reasons for this. The desire to get a healthy harvest, to preserve the ecological purity of nature, not to harm birds and bees - the list goes on. These aspirations are quite understandable, but without chemical means of protection, getting rid of garden pests seems unlikely.

Of course, it is necessary to remove old foliage and fruits, cut and burn diseased branches, because it is there that pests winter, and these measures, undoubtedly, reduce their population. But sanitary methods alone cannot solve all the problems. Therefore, starting to control pests, we are increasingly trying to find means that do not kill all living things, but act selectively, allowing us to preserve the health of the garden and the environment.

“Prophylactin Light” - a find for organic farming

For early spring processing of fruit, berry, ornamental crops and grapes, the August company proposes to use the new product range Profilactin Light. The drug will help get rid of scale insects, false shields, ticks, aphids, leafworms, moths, copper flakes and other insects wintering in gardens. The main active ingredient - mineral oil, makes the use of this insecticide low risk for humans and fatal for pests.

The effect of the drug is achieved through early use. It is at a time when insects have not yet awakened from hibernation and are in a state of suspended animation, it is easiest to destroy them. Many funds at this time are ineffective due to the low air temperature, and Profilactin Light already operates at +4 degrees. C and above.

When spraying, the drug creates a protective film that blocks the flow of air to the pests, as a result of which their death occurs. This tool can be the best solution for the entire garden, as it copes well with pests of apple, pear, quince, cherry, apricot, plum, grape, currant and other berry and ornamental plants.

Using Prophylactin Light

"Prophylactin Light" is an aqueous emulsion that must be diluted with water when used. To prepare a working solution, 500 ml of the drug is diluted in 10 l of water. Consumption rates depend on the size of shrubs and trees, but on average it is from 1 to 5 liters per tree and from 0.5 to 1.5 liters per bush. To protect the garden, it is enough to carry out only one spraying, but this must be done in the spring, before the buds open, at an air temperature not lower than +4 degrees. FROM.

On sale you can find Profilactin Light in a convenient plastic packaging with a capacity of 1 liter. Methods of preparing a working solution, as well as precautions when working with the drug, are described in detail in the instructions. It is important to remember that, despite the low hazard class - it is still an insecticide, so when working you must not forget about personal protective equipment.

Dear readers! Use the effective new tool “Profilactin Light” to protect your garden! Guaranteed results from a reliable manufacturer - a pest-free garden and a healthy environment! Only one treatment needed!
